The sense of relief is amazing. We have been rushing our A-bomb project for the past few days, repeatedly meeting at Chester's house till late at night. I must say the one thing in that house i am most impressed by is the dog. Ches has this huge husky, which is really really nice, really really tame and really really smart. It's like the dog doesn't bark and doesn't bite. In fact after determining you're not there to kill her, she will raise her paw to shake your hand. Damn cute.
Yesterday, the dog ran out of its little backyard home, and we spent a hell lot of pains trying to get it back in. When you use food to lure it back, she will follow you all the way, eating her fill, and then at the gate, she will stop, look, growl at you and run away. It's like, me, wenjie and jiahui put together couldn't outwit that dog. In the end, the master, Ches, was the only one who could control the tired dog, and with a little help from Wenjie leashed it and brought it back in. F.Y.I it bit Wenjie, and wenjie was swearing at the dog the rest of the day. Hahaha.
Today was RE congress (i.e. super slack day minus lessons minus books) Presentation after presentation came, but I must say that the Science presentations in the morning was well, boring. We didn't understand half of the cheeminology presented to us, so how the hell do we ask questions? Like someone said, when they explain their terms there would just be more terms within the explanation, and it will get worse and worse and worse. At least the Social Sciences Final in the LT was much better, with interesting presentations (THAT WE COULD UNDERSTAND) on the freaky Urban Legends of RI, highlighters and of course, who could forget Johnny the Cockroach & Co.
Well 2moro we are moving to the new classroom block(or the S. Rajaratnam teaching block), which according to Jiahui still has no computer, projector, speaker etc. Bad news, we are on the 5th floor. Good news, there is a lift~! Bad news, we don't get to use it after morning assembly. Good news, we get to use it ANY OTHER TIME!!! (except when teachers wanna use. haiz.) Still, the feeling of moving into a fresh new environment always rocks. Today after class, we happily ripped everything on our boards to shreds, although i had to salvage the important chinese results which YOU pple were inches away from tearing to shreds. -.-
Lol. Another long post.
